Saturday 16 September – Arrival & Registration

  • 3:00pm – 5:30pm : Player arrival and registration

Sunday 17 September –  Round 1 @ Ba Na Hills Golf Club

  • 6:30 pm – 7:30pm : 19th Hole Reception


Monday 18 September – Round 2 @ Laguna Lang Co Golf Club

Tuesday 19 September

Format

  • The Danang 4 Ball Golf Championship is played across 3 rounds consisting of 2 Person 4 Ball Best Ball, 2 Person Ambrose & 2 Person Stableford Aggregate. All ages and handicaps welcome. If you come alone as a single, we’ll find a partner for you.


Handicaps

  • Competitors must have an official handicap (endorsed by your club or authorized handicap golf association).
  • The ‘slope handicap system’ will be utilised to calculate player handicaps for the Championship rounds. Under the slope system, the difficulty of the golf course and the tee blocks played from determine a player’s handicap prior to the start of each round. The course handicap will be displayed on your scorecard each round and is calculated as follows:
    Handicap Index x Slope Rating (Corresponding Tee) /113.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club is 25 minutes inland from Danang, Vietnam, near the foothills of the cable car station leading to Bana Hills. The IMG managed Da Nang golf course is the first Luke Donald-designed course in Asia and the world.

Ba Na Hills is laid out in several valleys of the surrounding mountain ranges. The Ba Na Hills mountain course has a diverse mix of natural topography and vegetation. The holes at higher elevations have nice vantage points with spectacular views of the valleys below.

Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in central Vietnam near Lang Co Bay and a 3-kilometer beach in the Chan May region of Central Vietnam, an area renowned for its pristine coastline, natural scenery, and proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites. The site is located between Hue 30 kilometers to the North and Danang 35 kilometers to the South.

Six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo designed the Lang Co par-71 golf course. Laguna Lang Co plays home to the annual finals of the Faldo Series Asia.
